Description
About the Library
Dadong Arts Library was initially designed as a two-floor building of 800 “pings” (about 28467 square feet). After the city-county consolidation at the end of 2010, Mayor Chen Chu expanded this library to a three-floor building of 1118 “pings” (39782 square feet) in total as the first public “arts library” nationwide, in order to establish and enhance the education and the knowledge in aesthetics to further promote the artistic appreciation of the public. Through the elaborately constructed reading space and information platform, Dadong Arts Library is expected to become the center of artistic resource and provide reference service to the public in southern Taiwan.
